After hearing the whole new Autechre album 'Confield" I must say that Im extremely dissapointed to be quite honest, with the exception of the first tune. Its just dull and repetitive IMO,,, still cant wait to see em again on May the 15th though.. On the other hand Plaid's new "Double Figure" album is a sure fire winner, there is barely one weak track on there. Its great new school elektro, warm, pretty and eclectic all at once, ya just gotta love it.... Buy this one if ya can! |

The new Plaid album is great - old good Ed&Andy really knows how to keep me love their music. Autechre's stuff need time as usual. It took me several months until I enjoyed EP7 (I promise!). Confield will grow with time. |

Me flyin to Chicago??? Anyways, ya know the answer to that one. Hmm, to each their own ofcourse about the new AE album, but I've been listening to IDM for 8 years now,and it doesnt take me many listens to get it or not, this is just plain dull IMO, but again to each their own. have you checked out the BOLA remix for Autechre's new tune of the album Vi scose poise??Now that remix alone blows anything they do off the matt on their new album IMO. No biggie, I'm sure most of you will like the new AE. |

man, i know this Bola remix (or so they titled it). doesn't actually sound like Bola but it is one genius song. on par w/ any of AFX's best stuff. "VI Scose Poise (Bola Remix)" had to be a fake ID on slsk or something, but if you can get this, GET IT! a buddy gave it to me on a burn years back. i wish i knew who it really was cause i would buy everything they ever put out just from hearing this one tune. |
