I keep getting non delivery reports and out of office
replies from people I don't email. I have run a virus check
and it found nothin... anyone got an idea what is going on?

A friend of mine had this, I'm sure it was virus
related.....I'll have a think about it, and post back later

Sounds about right. I downloaded the removal tool from
Symantec just to be on the safe side....it said everything
was fine.

yeah, its not necessary YOU that are having the virus. the
worm scans harddisks for any email addies, so if your addy
was found on a remote system it'll put your addy as the
sender....

that sounds like it... I ran a check and it came up with
nothing, so i guess my email is being used by some fuckin
virus thing... only had a couple of replies so far but it is
annoying.

i'm getting stuff like this too...saying that my email is
infected with Sobig, and that I have infected someone
else...

I do NOT have any virusses. I run Norton Antivirus and it
scans my system every day and updates every day.

a folder "PoisonedDownloads" is on my hd, i don't know what
app brought it here (don't have any problems with my
computer, i think it's something to do with DirectConnect or
iSwipe - p2p software)... it's empty and i trashed it
anyway, but i must admit i was quite worried about it.
