after a little crisis (haha) i have almost finished my second song, that, in fact, its only an improving reinterpretation of my first one... you can hear "ardu cxl" (and also my first one, "ardu iv") "iv" is more astrobotnia style (not really) "cxl" is faster, noisier and better... i would be really happy if somebody could give me his opinion (note that the song is not finished yet...) thank you, mk. |

hmm... my older stuff isn't great but i'll give you some one-word descriptions. TWINKLE MONSTER is an old dark jungle track of mine. FLOURESECENT is a hip-hop garage track with saxophones and woodbass. Jazzy and funk-like. BILLY MEETS A SPACEMAN is slow breakbeat with video game noise. RETURN OF KUNG FU ROBOTS is another old jungle track. My stuff on Zebox is mainly BREAKCORE/DRILL N BASS and there's an 80s style pop track there too called no time for rhymes. My stuff on ELECTROMANCER is more of the same, with a downtempo track that everyone seems to love here called Living At the Bottom of a Bottle. Pick what you will. I recommend the electromancer/zebox stuff. |

yeah i know the feeling. it's really tough to get people to listen sometimes. but whenever you see another musician post, listen to their work and they'll likely return the favor. plus i find myself quite inspired by most other work on this board. |

i agree with your "returning favor system" and i always try to stay in it, but my connexion is shiiiiiit!... i hate it... your poppy song its nice, but not really something of my taste, reminds me of cylobs eps... hearing now "broken heart..." and i really like the melancholik melody in the beggining and the explosion of the bits... good work, men! i have to go now, thank you for listening. |

iv is insanity! sweet blissful insanity. i like the very randomness of it. and that whistle noise standing in for the percussion is a very unique idea. this track has very good melody as well. my only suggestion for this would be to perhaps have a stronger rhythm somewhere within the song somewhere. perhaps a nice kick line - not dancy, but something that fits with the song. bring it in about a fourth of the way, and then maybe fuck with it a little with some filters about halfway. those toms are cool too. you've got some great variety here - i could definitely listen to something like this on a regular basis. great ending too. well done sir. well done indeed. |
