"politics makes for strange bedfellows." do people actually think that france and germany were against the war in iraq for totally selfless altruistic reasons? no. they were against the war because they didn't want their trade agreements with saddam & co. to be broken. |

That is such bullshit. US is steeped in blood. There is a legion of examples. My personal favorite is Chile. If Canada was the superpower...What the fuck do you know about Canada? I don't want to get into a flame war about this with you, but you are wayyy off base in that statement. The fact is, Canada is a much more peaceful nation by design. Not that fishy things haven't gone on there in the past, but I would say that not a single past leader of Canada would be guilty of war crimes, whereas in the past you have Kissinger, and in the present you have GWB.
