Harmony Korine.

Does anyone have a favorite Harmony Korine moment? Mine is
when the deaf people are having a fight in Gummo. The lady
is making these really emphatic gestures (pissed off sign
language) and quacking, and the guy is looking all defensive
and resigned in his signing and kinda moaning real
high-pitched, like a spinning top.

maybe any of the interactions between julien and his father
in julien donkey-boy.
some of them very sad though.

Harmony Korine sucks.

That Sonic Youth video he did was so stupid. And after
watching Kids I think he's a pedophile.

he was only like 19 when he was working on kids.....clark
got him to help with it because he wanted someone to write
from within the type of group which he was trying to
document the (fictional) activities of.

I liked the part in "gummo" where the father is wrestling
the chair in the kitchen, I thought that was pretty funny,

and since that "Ken Park" has caused such controversy over
here, (the movie show) I'm keen to see that also. Can anyone
point me in the right direction to find the DVD?

The bit where the rabbit boy holds up a dead black cat. . .
yeah, i'd love to see Fight Harm, the film he tried to make
where he'd get into fights with people bigger than him.

Reading your responses is making me laugh my ass off, just
thinking of the scenes. All great ones by the way! Haven't
seen Ken Park yet though.

Oh yeah, I forgot about my REAL favorite moment. Werner
Herzog trying to drink Robitussin out of his slipper, then
"give me some Everest. Where are you Mount Everest?"
I had a T-shirt made to document that fine moment. It says:
give me some Everest

too many to list..

right now: the scene in gummo where werner herzog is
drinking cough syrup in his room and pulling the blinds up
and down with the string around his neck and he reads the
bottle, "Do noht uze eef you ahr hypehr seensitive.... am i
hypehr seensitive?" haha shit.. then he drinks it out of his
bedroom slipper and it just pours out the sides and you hear
it splatting on the floor.. slptplatsplip..

and yeah man.. the chair killing contest. fuckin classic.
"Get 'im, kill that sunofabitch!"

Pomme, the first scene you (we) were talking about is from
Julien Donkey Boy:)
The scene where he's opening the blinds with the string
around his neck is right before he asks his son to put on
his dead mom's dress and dance with him.
Damn, I've seen the movie too many times.

home after he attacks the turtle boy.

call.
How about in Kids where Caspar is talking about his cousin
fucking the chick with the leg braces in the handicapped
stall?

his movies

Brown Bunny, suposedly. Clark isn't a paedophile.

Speaking of Clark, Clark directed the movie Kids which
starred Chloe Sevigney, who was in Brown Bunny, which of
course was directed by Vincent Gallo, who was supposedly
sucked off (in real life) by Chloe Sevigney in a scene in
the movie!
