I think I forgot to drop a line on here about the Luke
Vibert interview in this month's issue of themilkfactory.
Apologies if it's been posted by somebody else already...
You can check the interview at www.themilkfactory.co.uk, and
as I said somewhere else, it gives a unique insight into
Luke's music and his friendship with Aphex, Squarepusher and
Mike Paradinas.

Also, I've posted a few pix of the AFX/Squarepusher gig in
London last night. There will be a full feautre on the gig
soon, complete with more pix, but this is a little
preview...

I read the interview but luke vibert doesn't feel that sure
of himself, he name drops aphex too much. Why isn't he
talking about his music instead of saying 'I spoke to
richard the other day and I said, do you feel cornish? and
he said yes.'

even your interview went to what aphex is doing.

Luke is cool even though he dissed squarepusher and richards
new 'mentalist' output.

was this interview via e-mail or telephone?

It was actually a face to face interview. I think that
talking to either of these guys, you can't avoid talking
about the others (god does this actually make sense???).
There wasn't that many questions about Aphex and
Squarepusher, but their name poped up and it felt natural to
ask stuff. My focus was on Luke though.

As for Luke "name-dropping", I said that to a friend as a
joke. As I said above, I think Aphex and Squarepusher are
part and parcel of Luke's life and career, and it is true
for the others too.

Interesting comment though... If I ever get to interview
either Aphex or Tom, I'll try to keep these comments in mind
;)

Thanks for the thumbs up guys though...

thanks... I need to come here more regularly you're right,
there's some good stuff on here. Amon Tobin's not Luke btw,
they're just label mates...

JivverDicker: I believe Tom's from Corwall as well, but I
could well be wrong.

I don't think Tom's cornish. Didn't he grow up in Chelmsford
and then move to Sheffield, or summat.

with Rich and Tom...

promise not to do so...)...

Doh... I knew that!!! Chelmsford, not Cornwall! Talking
about the man, I digged out Selection 16 the other day, and
I realised that I hadn't listened to it for such a long time
that I'd completely forgotten how a great record it is...
