Anyone recommend a program to do this? I'm about to get an Mp3 player so I need all my cd's (that I've already put on my HD) in Mp3 format. Any help would be great.
Cheers :D

Should I just cut my losses and delete the files and start again with Mp3. I've been listening to them through shit headphones so I've never really noticed.

WMA is a fucking joke. It puts ugly artifacts in the music that are the audio equivalent of the blurry rectangles in an over-compressed jpeg. God no don't re-encode them - start from scratch.
Rip your CDs wtih Exact Audio Copy and encode them with Lame. They're free and they're the best tools you can get for this.
