Well, we have a fucked-up system of punishment in this country. I have my own instance. I turned right at a left-only junction, got pulled over by the fuzz. In court, I got 6 points on the licence and a £200 fine - for turning a corner. Some copper, NOT on a call, was speeding on Great Western Road (which is at the top of my mum's road), lost control and plummetted into two elderly people. His punishment? Six points on his licence and a £200 fine. |
