I can't believe this!!!!!!!

I installed the latest version of messenger plus and what
do I get?! POP-UPS, POP-UPS, POP-SCREENS, spam icons on my
desktop and in my taskbar (that keep on coming back when I
delete them).
Has MSN lost their mind? I'm so fucking pissed about this! I
can't believe they did this!
Well, I installed 3.5 as fast as I could. OLD SCHOOL Y'ALL!

I'd run ad-aware if I were you - sounds like you got an
extra bonus. Did the popups stop when you uninstalled the
new version?

I use pop-up cop, and it works a dream. I never get pop-ups,
except one particular one, but that's evidently out of the
juristriction of pop-up cop !

mozilla is the way to be on "sites" w/ popups and no flash,
cause it has a built in pop up defenderâ„¢, which kicks ass.
and if a popup somehow sneaks thru it goes into a diff tab
without poppin in ya face! but its sux for sites w/ flash
because it doesnt work w/ flash...

[plug]

you should use trillian instead of msn messenger.

it combines your contacts from AIM, yahoo, MSN, icq, etc..

totally skinable and no ads.

[/plug]

that's why you get AIM, because MSN sucks and just wants to
be like AIM.

I thought ICQ was better than AIM, AIM seems so cheapily put
together, the inferface is so crappy and "not sharp" and
nice looking.

icq felt more technical than it needed be, at least when i
tried it
