i started this email list not too long ago for
announcements of electronic music shows in the pittsburgh
(PA, USA) area.
its also open for discussion and currently pretty low
volume. if you're in the area, feel free to subscribe and
participate:

List Name Pittsburgh DIY Electronic Music Discussion Group
(PGHELECTRO)
Purpose: PGHELECTRO is a place to discuss DIY electronic
music in the pittsburgh area,
primarily focusing on a post-rave electronic music scene,
and original electronic music of all kinds. The objective is
to have a place to plan and post events, announce releases,
discuss music and software, as well as just have a central
point of contact for people interested in new electronic
music.

overall. :P

you have way better shows than most places (at least from
the flyers and shit i see up on wrecked)

milwaukee kicks my ass though

i don't think i'm going to get to go see basseck tonight

my bf goes to school in PA.

the whole liquor buying scenario is REALLY wacked....don't
you agree?

if there are any good concerts going on this fall make sure
and pass the info along. almost drove to philly to see
ladytron during the storm of the century ya'll had there a
few months ago.

I've never been there but I saw the movie where Buzz
Lightyear got the flu real bad and I don't like it.

yeah the liquor laws are wack, but since i've always lived
here, i don't have much to compare with.

its a decent place, but our economy sucks, so most young
people leave.

we hold our own for our size.
