most of it anyway. there's some slightly abrasive tracks but
they're still easy listening ;)

worthwhile cds: iron city, l'usine
" eps: slipthrough, surface, sustain

try not to think too much about autechre, though

i assume many may fall into the 'oh another ae clone'
trap..

like they do with crunch, proem, etc... act who are doing
their own thing but because they use a distorted beat they
are labeled as ae wannabe's

erm, basically that it is reminiscent of ae :)

twitch is off the self titled debut

i see, well the track i checked sounds much warmer than any
ae tune

and that is exactly the thing why i cant get into ae as much
as i'd like to

that's actually a good way to describe l'usine imo: a warmer
ae. check the second track off iron city, wait for it to
begin properly (after about 2-3 minutes). you'll love it

thanks
i'll check everything when i get home

and surely i'll buy his albums-i liked that first track on
his site already

l'usine icl is fuckin wicked. respect.

he just had a new ep on ghostly international, called push ,
soundclips on www.boomkat.com
and theres another 12" ep comin out in the next month or
so.
iron city is a wicked parts downtempo parts 4/4-ish
material, very well produced.
