me)

its just part of a whole... and in that way its interesting

i pre-ordered mine a week before it's release and it the
21st and still it hasent come. so yesterday i went up to the
shop i pre-ordered it from and asked them why it's taking
sooo long and they said that they never got around to
ordering it. i was soo pissed, but i kept my cool and
ordered it again.

AFX had already "lost it" by the time of the release of
Windowlicker.... Like Ae with Confield.

But - there?s a lot of other great music to find!

offline Nexus 6 from Netherlands, The on 2003-06-21 06:50 [#00750206]

avart, please note that that's your own opinion. I hate it
when people make such statements as if it's the only truth.
I don't see what's wrong with the stuff after windowlicker,
but that's my opinion. However I do find everything he did
after drukqs a bit disappointing.

Everyone who downloads music should be castrated.

agrees...
i listened to cds at shops before and even then i felt
ripped off sometimes.

+ THERE IS NO SUCH MUSIC IN SHOPS
until you order and have to pay for it...

today come to daddy and rdj-album reached me on vinyl and im
pretty happy that i got 2 of my favourites now.

i only buy things i like to listen to a lot of the time.
this often only feels good after 50 listens or so...
if a record doesnt stand 20 listens i wont buy it. thats it.

music, why can't u use them?! Why do you need to pay for the

i also have to pay for the radio and i just see mp3s as an
avanced form of radio.
and since i dont know any person or shop that gives me
access to the musical styles i want to explore i use the
internet.

i usually burn some cds and buy it on vinyl then.

but I understand that not everybody can afford those high
prizes... so I am for piracy... I understand mp3 sharing
and cdrs...

watching fanboys make asses of themselves over and over is
getting really old... how many times have we seen this
topic now... and the thing is that most people who hate it
never liked noise in the first place... why would you buy an
ep, on which it has been made known rather explicitly that
there will be 2 noise tracks... if you don't like noise?
nevermind filesharing...

I still haven't been able to find it. But i think i'm
going to skip it altogether and stop searching for it. Even
if the remix itself is pretty good... when am i going to
listen to a cd for only just one track?? Uh...never :-p
Maybe 3 or 4 times when i just got it, and then it'll stay
on the shelf forever.

I am tempted to buy it... because at heart i am really a
collector and i want to own everything by aphex twin... but
if i think about it logically... this is a huge waste of
money.

do you have any idea how many people download music? If
they'd all be castrated, the human race would go extinct
;-)

There's nothing wrong with using mp3's to preview something
before you buy it imo. I only dissaprove when people
download music instead of buying it. It's called
stealing and they should be punished.

Orrin Hatch is a wonderful man! I hope science will help him
to set justice in the world

MP3 = THEFT

I heard about APE compression, it's not as bad as mp3, but
it's also evil, since it nearly HALVES the amount of time
and space needed to pirate a song!

okay you're right :-p
It's not a huge waste of money.
If i happen to see it in one of the recordstores i visit
frequently, i'll probably still buy it ;-)
But i'm not going to do alot of searching for it. Look for
it in other cities and stuff.
