MEN4: What a turd sounds like when it's tied to the back of
a car and being dragged down an ol' back road.

MEN5: Ragga samples accompanied by Richard masturbating with
a cheese grater. Aka: smojphace revisited.

MEN6: a single piano note slowed down to last thirty-four
minutes and twenty-one seconds, and turned up by 3000%

i love both releases....not completely into the new one yet
but the first one is so good....

offline JivverDicker from my house on 2003-06-19 17:30 [#00748442]

The first one is good but the second is shit. The Bug
original is far more direct and fun, the noise tracks are
pale immitations of dedicated noise artists. If you want
more of this crap buy it, if you don't, don't.

Men12.1: The remixed sounds of whiny afx fans who no longer
understand his material but buy the vinyl blindly just so
that they can complain about it...

Thats true.... atleast for awhile....

His son inherit his collection of unreleased DAT tapes .
He listen to them all only to discover that all of them are
actually a voice diary and not some magical masterpiece
music lifeswork of a madman.
He find some of them amusing and decides to publish them.
He does so under the name "Jingle" on a site called
Xltronic.com.

MEN15: empty cd with no music. you should use your
immagination and you'll listen all music you prefer. is
strongly suggested vinyl version... at least you can listen
a nice scratch sound ;)

i don't see what everyones problem is with it - the remix
is very punky and exciting and interesting to listen to and
the noise tracks are well physical - sure they'e not ambient
works two or whatever but you can't stick around in the
past.
the cd and the vinyl also look great and it was only £3.99
whicich is the price of a burger king meal or a pint and a
half - not really too much

Couldn?t the "Bonus high frequency sounds" on Men 1 be some
sort of a computer file? Like a tape signal to an atari or
commodore 64?

men17 simply a jar of richard's piss with "gwekerly v.
7.09004" and copy "1/5000" written on the lid. extra charge
for the deluxe edition which comes is a HEAVIER jar (same
amount of copies created).

MEN00 : A 60 minute disk of silence. With the special hidden
track that you have to rewind back fom the beginning of the
disk ( much like the Autechre EP 7 ) where here you will
find a 20 minute track of more silence.

It will be hailed as the most ground breaking piece of music
ever by everyone who wants to sound sophisticated in micro
social circles who thrive on being "in the know".

It too like most things released in the past couple of
years... Will suck completely.

offline gl1tch from The Meantime (United States) on 2003-06-23 06:21 [#00753006]
Points: 313 Status: Regular

It will also contain a special hidden track that begins five
minutes after the last track on the CD... If you listen
closely you will realize that it the actual sound that a CD
makes spinning in the player itself.

Another stoke of shear artistic genius.

for my tastes it's simply an insipid afx release...better a
good whopper with a pint of beer ;-)

btw: i remain a true afx fan, and i'll buy every disc Richie
will release. LONG LIFE TO RDJ

..sorry, but now i have to finish my bacon whopper...
