New slang term for wicked

This isn't a "let's all think up a new slang term for
"wicked"" thread. It's an "I've thought of the
new slang term for "wicked"" thread.

Every once in awhile our culture needs a new term for
something we approve of in order to be a measure of it's
speaker's superior imitative ability... "cool" has been
quite successful... I might even imagine that one making
it's way to dictionaries if it hasn't already... actually
"sucks" too, maybe this is because of the massive meme
spreader of the show beavis and butthead. But there's lots
of others that have died off. So the newest freshest word
for "cool" or "wicked" (the latter being a favorite among
listeners of strange music since it was a favorite of
Richard D. James and was imitated memetically by us) is
going to be created by ME in THIS VERY THREAD, fitting since
I am the coolest person around.

This new word is "conscious". Feel free to use it only when
referring to the MOST wicked/cool things.

ex.
person 1: "the boombonic plague by otto von schirach is
conscious, dude..."
person 2: "like, whoa"

and "wicked" originated in jamaica in the 70's if im not
mistaken, and moved into slum areas in urban areas of
england in the 80's

I have a better idea... even though you think you really
found the best word, I tell you that your choice is not the
right one.

for cool or wicked, the new word is:

unconscious

whoa... unconscious would be a very conscious word... Maybe
if something gets SO conscious that it surpasses any graph's
ability to measure it (if this is even possible) it would
then be unconscious.

i agree again.
so to recap:
things that were cool, are now wicked and thus things that
were once wicked are now concious. appropriately, it
follows that things that are hella wicked or even
grotesquely wicked are for the time being, unconcious.

so to re-recap:
in order of bad-assedness:
1. cool
2. wicked
3. concious
4. unconcious.

is this correct? if so i will be submitting it to my crew of
wicked concious friends who will thusly strive to be
unconcious.

Why not recycle popular words by reversing them ?

Dekciw mate !! Dekciw!

"That new bmw comercial is "looc" man!"

Of course this would only work on internet forums and stuff
No one would know the actual pronounciation (sp?) (wich in a
way fits the whole IDM thing)

why not replace the word wicked with 'feargal sharkey', as
in "this food tastes feargal sharkey" or "thats' feargal
sharkey!". of course this may present some problems if
indeed you are listening to feargal sharkey or indeed ever
bump into him, but this is highly unlikely to happen, imo

John K. who created Ren and Stimpy was fascinated by man's
man Kirk Douglas, the manly he-man with the huge cleft in
his chin - so for a while, me and a friend kept saying
"whoa, that is so cleft!" whenever someone did something
manly like picking up a refrigerator.

Anything manly was "cleft" because of the cleft in the chin
of the manliest man who ever lived. We were big John K. fans
and read about this in an interview. Did you know that in
one of the Ren and Stimpy cartoons, Kirk Douglas's face
rises over Hollywood instead of the moon?

Manliest man ever. Sheez! Go watch Spartacus if you
don't believe me!

why not add these to the urban dictionary and make it
official? i'm willing to bet that somewhere out there
someone will take it very seriously and adopt it into their
urban vocabulary.

i still use the term "wicked" as slang to describe something
i find intriguing or fascinating.

i dunno about "conscious" though. i think it's because it
doesn't sound "extreme" enough.

i sometimes wonder how slang terms get officially coined.

that one's going in ym dictionary.
Concious is cool, too

but I also like Grant W.C's idea of using the words
"techno"

"Whoa! That bassdrum is fucking techno!"

some hip hop vj on mtv japan says it once, and next thing
you know it's all over those 15 sec. commercials, then badly
used in some translation of some sony product that's all
"conscious" and simpsons makes one of Lisa's colledge
crush's say it...next thing you know it's all over the
net...then you see ppl saying it on those comercials on
those huge ass screens at timesquare, then you'll see some
british royalty saying it in some pepsi comercial...then
it'll be dead. consciously dead.

i think that when something is sick, i just call it "w"
example 1: "hey man, that shit is w"

when something is wicked, i call it "m"
example 2: "that new afx record is really m"

and when i wanna say tha something is really fuckin wicked
and sick shit i call it just "wmw"
