has anyone heard this ep from autechre?ive heard krib and i
really like it..is it easy to find (didnt see it on
amazon.com) and is it worth picking up?

Joyce Barber on 2001-04-14 00:21 [#00003412]

Try Napster. Pretty easy to find

Ross from Can. on 2001-04-14 00:35 [#00003413]

Okay, do you know if its easy to find it in stores though?

Glitch from New Zealand on 2001-04-14 12:01 [#00003433]

I got mine from Warp-mart, its cheap and bloody fast :)
Cichlisuite is a really great e.p, worth every dollar, Krib
got me into it and I had to have it,

Aron? from Canada on 2001-04-14 19:25 [#00003450]

I can't find it anywhere where i live :(. I did buy Ep7
yesterday though, quite the grand record.

Ross from Can. on 2001-04-14 20:10 [#00003453]

is ep7 the one that has the like fast talking rapping on one
of the tracks? ive heard some of the tracks off that (if its
the one im thinking of) and theyre pretty good, except that
particuliar track is terrible imo

Netlon Sentinel from beyond on 2001-04-14 22:01 [#00003461]

ep7 is their most brilliant release to date, imo. only a few
more days till the next release!!! yea!

Ross from Can. on 2001-04-14 23:31 [#00003462]

it doesnt come out til May 1st at the hmv near me, but i
will most definitely be picking it up...i bought the
hexstatic rewind cd today with the second disc that has
crazy music videos for all the songs..interesting

Ross from Can. on 2001-04-15 00:01 [#00003467]

im gonna return this hexstatic cd though..too kitschy for
me, it's kinda lame.

Ramalpha84 from New Zealand (www.mp3.com/aureus) on 2001-04-15 02:27 [#00003488]

Glitch: How fast did it take to get to you? Since you live
in NZ too it should take as long to get to me.

Glitch from New Zealand on 2001-04-15 12:22 [#00003506]

Hey Ramalpha84 :) it took them only 5 days since I put the
order in for 3 CDs, even with our shitty exchange rate its
still cheap enough too, which is nice

what must be done for its 10th birthday?

i propose this;

1) no matter our graphical skill we make some really old
school looking graphics/animations that fit the CD. i'm
thinking of those programs that just generated lines and
curves based upon lines of code, but i don't know which
ones

specifically would work on our computers now. stuff like
graffiti, or like stock footage of like techy stuff works
aswell, or if you've got an animation style of your own
that'd be cool as well. stock footage has to be REALLY RARE

though. if any of you guys have commodores and do graphx on

that would be sick as well. sky's the limit -
graffiti/cad/vector/programmed/drawn
2) fit the animations/clips to one song voted on by our
choosing.
3) distribute the vid virally through google video and
youtube
4) they'll ask, "man!? sick! what is this??"
5) then we're like "10 year tribute to a CD caled
cichlisuite by awwteckur"

its coming up nxt year. lets get to talking. i mean, anyone

can program, right? i don't even think you need knowledge of

programing to do it. but even so, you can contribute to it
in a lot of ways. especially if you can do real fucked up
geometrical shit on a commodore, or whatevr. ill be posting

examples . if its a bad idea just say so :[
