The Magic Ball.

Short synopsis:

Early two-dimentional cutout fun from the peolpe who would
later give us MR. BENN. A similar theme can be detected by
scholars of the genre - young, archetypal cap-and-shorts
schoolboy Sam visits his Aunt's junk shop in some idyllic
Cornish village with his magic ball, which performs much the
same function as the "door that adventures could start from"
in Benn. Each escapade stems from Sam's contemplation of a
piece of antique memorabilia in the shop. Magical worlds
encountered conformed pretty much to the Benn
cavemen/knights/astronauts standard stuff, with whatever
problem the locals appear to be having sorted out somehow by
the ball in time for tea. Often more wilfully psychedelic in
the execution, though, with extended pans across
acid-infused landscapes to abstract electronic burblings
aplenty.

Transformers (I've got every episode) and GI Joe, the stock
answers... I also remember being really affected by the old
Astroboy, though it's been years since I saw it.

''count duckula''

That show used to make me so depressed... it was so dreary
and the colors and atmosphere was so dark. I felt sorry for
Count Duckula, but hey, it's been probably a decade since I
saw it last.

when i had the nacmat pinck closeup avatar, i had some text
scrolling at the bottom and it said "this track is fucking
great... it's da shit!" but the file was too big so i took
it off.. it was classic though.
