You can probably get your diploma before the end of summer by taking a summer school class. Shouldn't be a big deal I don't think. |

you need to work something out so you can write a little paper (on a predetermined subject) while you on on your road trip, in the car/van and such, lots of wasted time, and type it up at your love shack and then deliver or mail it to the school/superintendant or.. you can tell them to take their lousy 1/2 a credit and fuck it hard up thier ass or.. you can come back next semester and take the class, knowing you will be 1 year behind the rest of your class, then what next, youll only work 30 hours in at a job, them the next week you will have to work 40+the missed 10 or..nevermind. i hope you can work something out pal. |

he didn't say he "failed", he's just missing a credit.. this could happen from dropping too many courses or not attending class enough to get the credit. not necessarily reflecting his intelligence but his judgment. |

shit dude =( i had a GPA of above 3.5 in my sophomore and junior years of high school, but i took a slide my senior year too. i had to take a friggin' stupid freshman history class my final semester because i didn't have the credit for it. i graduated just this past Thursday with just barely squeezing through in filling my credits. it was pretty hectic. perhaps you can take an online course? well, you shouldn't have to repeat a year just because you're half a credit; that's downright absurd. it'll work out. don't give up! godspeed! |

no offense or anything... but how do you fail in high school... it's a joke... High schools in Canada are a fucking joke, truly. My woman teaches high school science and English. It's considered "pedagogically incorrect" to fail a student. You practically have to be born headless to fail. |

It seems the biggest problem, nigel, is that you really wanted to goto the smokies. This gives you pleasure. However pleasure has a shadow - pain. i wouldn't sweat it. shouldn't you be able to make it up in summer school? i always hated classes where you just had either watch or listen to shit the whole class... like this theater class i was in my freshman year. it was all fucking WORKSHEETS. WORKSHEETS in a THEATER class... makes no fucking sense... and i nearly failed. I totally hear where you're coming from on that. |

Our class this year is the worst the oldest teachers have seen in 30 years of teaching. About 20 won't graduate out of 100 currently, it's fucking funny. One teacher suggested our class motto should be "Would you like fries with that?" |

I personally feel that less people should be graduating. These people shouldn't have been allowed into secondary school anyways. Internment and labor training programs are the only place for them. |
