Does anyone else who works/goes to school/college always
think this on a Monday, or am I the only one?

It doesn't help matters when you get into arguments with
people at work either, and end up slamming doors. :(

I usually start thinking that on a Tuesday. Then when it's
Wednesday I know what it's only 1 full day left as I leave
at 4 on Fridays. Mondays are normally spent wallowing in
self pity at the fact that the weekend is gone and I'm now
going to spend the rest of the week with people I really
don't care about it. It's quite depressing to think that you
spend more hours of your life with people you work with than
with people you really want to spend time with......

I work with nice people, but once in a while something
happens, and I just overreact or go bananas. Most likely it
is always due to miss-communication.

Yep, it never is that far from the weekend thankfully. I
just wish I worked 4 day weeks. I could handle the paycut if
it meant I had Mondays off.

That would be so cool! I'd prefer every Friday off though.

:D

My boss is a nice enough person but there's only so much
religion you can take every day. I'm really getting pissed
off of late as everything is brought down to it. Fair enough
the bloke is a Christian but there's no need to tell me
every 5 fucking minutes and then explain what everything
means in relation to the bible. He even fucking offends
other Christians by telling them that they're not going to
heaven as they're not Born again and then kicking off on
one. It's fucking annoying now.

Apologies to all born again Christians on the board. I'm
sure you're not all the same as him but his relentless
banging on is really getting my back up.

This is a good monday. I'm alone at the office, no calls
coming in, my music on the boombox and I am FUCKING AROUND
ON THE WEB and drinking choccy coffee.

Nod and smile serenely, knowing that you are better than him
(i.e., not a nutbar) and can afford the luxury of
compassion.

You know what? That's what I'm going to do. The day I leave
I'm going to tell him that I know his daughters aren't
virgins and that they've been fucking for years :D
