I have been working on the remix for several mounths, but I haven't had much time to do it... but anyway, I'll let you know when it's done... it's a big project and it will probably result in that I divide the mix into two parts... |

Everything I've listened to so far that you guys have posted sounds really good/professional. Do any of you play out much? qrter: one of your pieces reminded me a little of Hafler Trio or something; very old school transitional collage stuff. Was one of those tracks an Oval remix? I thought I heard something from Diskont in there. pomme de terre: your track has that whimsical feel that the best RDJ or uziq stuff has. Very emotionally engaging. I think some of your note choices may give RDJ a run for his money. QFZ2X: post-dada, post-futurist, post-laser. Sounds like Nurse With Wound or Christoph Heeman for the tekker generation. korben dallas: reminds me of jega a little. It is minimal and low key but says what it needs to very effectivly. raimons: do you play live in that outfit? I think you took something classic and improved on it. I like the cleaness of the lead guitar on talk to the hand; nice contrast with the fuzz. dariusgriffen: The first track I listened to started off with some very dark atmospheres and eventually transitioned into a prog/kraut adventure. Very pleasantly suprising. I like the old school pads a lot. Some excellent genre hoping going on in this second track I'm listening to .. it starts sounding like Cluster or something and transitions to some hardcore 808s then moves on to some red lining hip hop grooves. Very interesting stuff. I listen to some of the other stuff when I'm on again and give some feedback on it, maybe see if I can upload some of my own somewhere. |
