OK, I have only recently gotten into NIN (very much) and
have just ordered Further Down the Spiral (because I just
love those remixes of Mr. Self Destruct)

What do YOU think is the best Nine Inch Nails album?

I just downloaded The Downward Spiral, after listening to
the IMO awesome The Art of Self Destruction, Part Two
I wanted to hear the original tracks anyway. Thanks for the
comments!

i just checked out the extras on the dvd. a "reptile"
performance!!! one of my favorite songs off tds... and
"the day the world went away" video was nice...

the manson performance was pretty cool, i dug the beautiful
people jam...

even if yoru not a manson fan, that nyc was just a tad after
the time when we had the trent vs. marilyn drama

the first time i saw it i was blown away and had chills, to
be there would have been exstatic !!

the best NIN album must be Pretty Hate Machine..that's the
only NIN album that can be described as a masterpiece..

my personal favorite release is broken, but i think they're
all classy...except that still kind of seemed a bit thrown
together...and i wont get into things fall apart..

See i am in the MINORITY here...I pick Pretty Hate
Machine...brilliant debut and holds very sentimental value
in my heart.

The Downward Spiral!! And I don't think there's ever been a
greater remix album than Further Down The Spiral.

yes, i like a few of them the same. i can't say that i like
one more than another, because it really depends on the
day/mood/etc. but i would pick pretty hate machine, broken,
downward spiral, and the fragile

Reznor needs to shut up and keep making good instrumentals.
I'm tired of hearing him yell.

same. he's too old, too happy, and too rich for all that
angst. from what i've heard, he's not even depressed. just a
very normal guy. time to drop the pretensions and make just
great music. if he could write lyrics that were sincere
that'd be cool cos i actually think he's a great singer too.

somewhat damaged is mr. reznor's finest bit. and you
think that i'd then go on to say 'the fragile' is his finest
album. el wrong-o, gringo. i'm gonna vote for the downward
spiral just like everyone else. why? it rules.
