Well there's AutoCAD 2004 just come out.

I use AutoCAD with Map5 on it.

2004 is shitty...its filled with bugs , and really there is
no difference between 2002 and 2004 instead of icons in XP
style...i think that 2002 is the best version at all...

autocad is ok, here at the department of roads, we use the
very expensive microstation, it rocks

like? i nave heard of it , but never worked...i'm studying
land enginering so i must use Cad systems and MES technology
(Cosmos M, Catia , Ideas ) ....

autocad 2000 does it fine for me...2002 I have a bad copy
and it makes fatal error all the time

Glad we haven't got that one then. We were holding out for
Map6 as that's in the Autumn that it'll be arriving.
AutoDesk are as bad as Microsoft with their business
practices.

Microstation sounds very good from what I've heard. Like to

IT s more expensive per liscence than autocad, but the state
(tax payers) pay for it, so they went all out

Fair enough. I think my mate uses it in Australia. I can't
believe that it's mroe expensive than AutoCAD. Autodesk
wouldn't allow that methinks ;)
