Hmm, something off Drukqs, maybe Cock Ver 10.

But yeah, a lot of Squarepusher. Can't name one.

Insane as in lots of diff beats and randomness?

great track nacmat, but im thinking of tracks that at first
seemreally difficult becasue of their "noiseyness" but the
real power emrges through repeted listens....
(you going to Sonar?)

direc t to mental is solid alright.. quite mad

Angstroms got a strainght enough melody but the percussion
is fucking ace.... especially the Frigids version.... the
final percussive assault is truly remarkable like a ton of
cutlery falling down a marble staircase

offline redrum from the allman brothers band (Ireland) on 2003-05-24 08:55 [#00712793]

shit, sorry, didn't read the whole thread. thought you were
looking for "insane" as opposed to "abstract until after a
few listens"..

I'd go for confeld by autechre, but that stuff still just
sounds like noise to me. h8 it.

*awaits onslaught of abuse and flaming*

I'm not educated enough in the field to give a good answer.

But from what I've heard, "Cock Ver. 10" off of Drukqs is
pretty insane. Especially when it has all of the skips in
the sound..it's almost hypnotic.

Also "Unborn Baby" by Venetian Snares.
