i am thinking of buying their album 'parental guidance'
because i really liked them on tha skam one world show.. so
is it worth it?

i'm totally getting into this skam stuff, they have amazing
acts there.

I would say parental guidance is not the best Skam has to
offer. In my opinion not much is left to the imagination.
But the album does have a nice remote control graphic layout
for the mantle and super-thick vinyl.

If its going to be like that I would go with the Prefuse
(obviously not skam).
There is a pretty good album that just came out that has an
attached DVD (PAL) with some fun viddies. The album is the
soundtrack of the videos. I like it. Its called MEAM. Its
by the artist that did a lot of the BOLA stuff.

MEAM is a SKAM release.

I've listened to alder&elius once and it didn't impress me.
It sure is a unique sound, but a lot of same samples,
sounding kind of minimalistic and repetitive, boring.

the thing is: sometimes alder&elius sounds like amatuers,
but still, they have created one of the best tracks ever:
'in effect' from SKA013.

'revolving squiggle drums' (or whatever the title is) from
parental guidance is damn good as well!

the last track on the SKAM radio show by alder&elius also
amazing. but thats about it, strange huh?

Naetta: You could start with the 7" single "King of pop" by
A&E. They have some excellent tracks, but IMO
Parentalguidance have too many weak and mediocre tracks.

i always though alder and elius were pretty much a huge
joke, but their radio one stuff was pretty cool. anyhow, go
for the meam and the bola!
