you and your gf should each pick 3 letters and then come up
with the name you like the most (consisting those letters
ofcourse)

here's an example
you pick a,b and c
your gf picks d,e and f

and you can name her ecabfd

you see...im full of great ideas

I have read that many parents name their offspring on how
they want them to be or think they will be when they grow
up.
Like in Norway some girls are named "Vilde" wich would
indicate that its a independent and tuff girl , and in
swedish "Ronja" after the childrens book character who is
the daughter of a thief-gang chief is a simmilar name.

Like me for example , i am a tall guy and i was a very big
baby when i came.
See my parents knew this allredy cause of the tests and moms
tummy was HUGE.
So they named me ERIK
[Derived from the Old Norse elements ei "ever" and rikr
"ruler". This was also the name of kings of Denmark, Sweden
and Norway.
]
If they would have named me for example Timmy or Tim , a
name that i personaly think indicates a small guy it would
have been less suiting or it would have been like the big
guy in Robin Hood "Little John"

The boring thing about girl names is that its often a later
version of a boys name like Erik=Erika Simon=Simone
Thats why my suggestion is creating a name from scratch.
You don't need to go all hippie and name her "Rainbow" or
something , take your time , its like a tattoo , shes
probably gonna have it her whole life.

Most people hate having a different name when they are
children but they get the point when they are older and are
gratefull to their parents, i mean who really wants to be
another Tim or Erik in the crowd? =)
