Please don't hate me for this, Cuntychuck!

I'm just in such a Stones mood, agh. I like the goofy
psychedelic stuff like Ruby Tuesday, 2000 Light Years from
Home, Citadel, Let's Spend the Night Together...

But tonight it's Sister Morphine, really disturbing... the
doctor with no face makes me shiver. Starfucker from Goat's
Head Soup is also great. Stones > NIN

Equally perverted and great is Stray Cat Blues from Beggar's
Banquet. So gimme some Stones love.

PS- Satisfaction is THE rock song God had in mind when he
created this genre.

Yeah, Like a Rainbow is specfabulous! I loved the
Beatles-rip-off phase. Screw the critics! That whole album
just oozes goofy fun.

An underrated pop masterpiece is the (''I Feel Fine''
ripoff) The Last Time.

Good choices. I'm going to listen to Time is On My Side
right now in your honor.

Time... sigh... it just sifts away like sand in an
hourglass... it's here then it's gone.. blablablabla.

I downloaded 'Forty Licks' (no way I'd ever pay for a Stones
album!) and it's great, has all the 'hits' on it. Aside from
the ones mentioned I like 'Under My Thumb' a lot.

There's too many to choose from. From 1968-1973 they were
untouchable. Fuck the beatles and their art school shit. The
stones fucking rocked. Let it bleed, sticky fingers, exile
on main street and Beggars Banquet are four of the most
important albums EVER made. They don't get enough
recognition simply because they're still around making a tit
of themselves.

Ah yeah, I'd forgotten "under my thumb", great track.

Bill: Yes, if they'd all tragically died in a plane crash in
the Mid 70's they'd of got a lot more recognition.

IM A MONKEYEEEEEEY!!!!

I love when "monkey man" is being played in "Goodfellas"
when Ray Liotta is being followed by Narcs. Its so mental.

I can't choose a favorite tho, they have done so many great
songs.
I like early stones.

Weird stones story

What the hell! Why does everyone love Paint it Black so
much? It's good, but they did so much better. It's like
their Love Me Do.

Anyway, the best Stones song is The Last Time, definitely. I
was way off base on that first post.

Beacause its the end credit song of "Apocalypse Now" so
maybe people remember it toether with that awesome movie.

Im leaning towards "under my thumb" cause it got such a
catchy Motown'ish groove.
But theres another really great song that i can't remember
the name of (irritating) , it one of their early hits and
its kinda ruff for that time.

They've got quite a few ''rough early hits'', but off the
top off my head, one of my favorites is ''Mercy Mercy''.
''Under My Thumb'' is awesome, too. They oozed awesome.
