Terry Gilliam's Brazil tops the list. Followed close by
David Lynch's Muldholand Drive.

I tried to follow a "Pokemon" film once when i was hung
over.
I didn't understand one bit !!!

Infact i also find most manga movies hard to follow too ,
don't know why.
Some of them have very complex storyline , especialy the
really weird ones about demons and shit .

Lot of Lynch choices I see. I don't consider Mulholland
Drive weird because the ending is such a cop-out, it
destroys everything that came before it with no style and a
cliche that was considered overdone 25 years ago. Lost
Highway ranks weirder imo, if only because the beginning is
based on something that actually happened to Lynch.

Eraser Head is far weider than Mullholand drive IMO. Id say
its still the weirdest thing I've ever seen. When u say
these other films are distrubing is it in a Requim For a
Dream type way?

the idiots,solaris(the original),crash,...........but one i
really remember as being weird was about this kid who was
part of some kind of circus freak show being tattooed across
his chest(a phoenix i think) and then the only other part i
really remember was later on in the film was he escaped from
a mental institution(i think) by climbing up a big branch
that was in his cell for some strange reason, also he was
much older in this part of the film.anyone know what film it
is?

Has anyone seen "The Piano Teacher". That was one of the
more bizarre recent movies I've seen. I have been meaning to
see the independent film that Mike Gordan from Phish made.
Im hoping that its something like his writing. Has anyone
seen that? If so, let me know what you thought of it.

ages, I hope my uni library has it. Those black and white

SBS - is a multi-lingual tv station in australia..
--------------------------
they play lots and lots of weird shit..
they have an hour long show called "eat carpet" mostly short
films and documentaries..
i have seen some weird stuff on that..
some awesome and some utter shite.

but the weirdest thing i have seen on sbs was a black and
white movie about an assylum for crazy midgets..
im not too sure what language it was in. i probly saw it
about 8 years ago.
anyway.. there are about 30 zany midgets in this place.. and
for some reason they are left there under no super-vision..

and they get up to the funniest shit..
i remember one part where they get a van going in a tight
circle and and shut a rug in the back doors and sit on the
rug while another midget is bull fighting (waving a cloth in
front of) the van as it drives by.. another midget is
sitting in her the kitchen smashing eggs. hundreds of them.
and another midget is sitting on a motor bike with the stand
down.. wearing old school moto goggles and making engine
sounds..
im sure dael remembers this one.. : )
i'd love to see it again, so if anyone knows the title of
this id be well chuffed..
