IMPORTANT! CONTEST CONFIRMATIONS!

offline Phobiazero from the next Xltronic (Sweden) on 2003-04-29 07:42 [#00675974]

i've sent out confirmations to all you lot now! IF
you haven't received a confirmation - then something blurry
is going on! it might depend on a few things: your email
account is invalid, you've never contacted me but still
managed to get the ftp-settings, i have by mistake forgot
your remix, etc... no worries if you haven't received a
confirmation as long as you contact me and we'll together
work it out!

thanks for all your contributions! wonderful music. well
done!

got my confirmations, thank you.

I think you'd rather NOT want people to reply to them if the
included information is correct, no?

because my guess is, you'll get a LOT of replies the
following few days without any need for them..

i'm used to it.... the contest alone has generated about 500
emails for me so far... :)

confirmation!

"correct?"

can't wait!

I've got a 1.1764705882% chance of winning (if it's exactly
170 remixes).
Woo!

i'm not. i never have been. and i refute the claim that
pants are an acceptible domicile in todays forward thinking
western society. if there's ever going to be any peace in
this world, we gotta stop living in pants

oh, and i got the mails. and rather than reply to the
'correct?' messages via email, i'll answer here: yes, and
yes.

I have recieved my official confirmation, along with
the confirmation that my track has been selected among one
of the top 15. ...Oops, I wasn't supposed to say that
last part.

offline kylesherrod on 2003-04-29 12:09 [#00676398]
Points: 6 Status: Lurker

w M w...did you actually get selected among top 15? I
mean...something tells me that's bullshit spewing from your
text...but that would be pretty cool if you did, no? I hope
I do...but my confirmation email mentioned nothing of it.
Although I really don't expect to either, I just did it for
fun within a couple of hours sitting in front of my really
old tape deck, a few of my synths, and my computer. I
wouldn't exactly call it quality material, but I think it is
probably among one of the more creative takes on remixing
(it isn't some house mix of an Autechre song...its a
horribly mutated remix with a nice juicy analogue sound).

whew, i just listened to my _confirmed_ (thanks phobia ;)
mix again!

like everyone else i'm excited to hear what a bunch of ae
hedz turned in for remixes hehe ... especially because i
listen to almost all "unsigned" artists (it's amazing how
much stuff comes out on net labels i seriously can't keep
up).

hey, would playing my remix live be considered making it
public?

i'm playing a mpls club tonight + it would be so much fun to
blast it ;D
