Keep them, short hair is bonkers. You look fine with those dreadlocks, you dont have any traits of stonerness apart from them. Long hair girls! anything else is not good. I knew a girl who had dreadlocks, she cut them off and was wery unhappy about her short hair for a long time. but now shes back to regular long hair and looking good. =) |

PLEASE! DONT DO IT!!! im not a girl, but i cut of my (perfect)dreads 4 months ago and im not really happy with it... i must say i would not be much happier without having done it, but i really imagined it would be better... heres a list of my pros and cons: ++ easier when having sex or kissing -- doesnt look as stunning as before + cooler in summer --- no natural cushion while lying outside + its somehting new to have short hair - you lost something personal ++ easier to dry your hair - you receive lesser looks (this point doesnt affect you cause you have a boyfriend) the funniest thing that happened to me after i cut my dreads is that i got asked for my i.d. at a club (im 23) |

I just recently cut off all my hair and it is so liberating, you won't believe it. it's so easy to take care of, and it feels so sleek and sensual, especially in the sunshine, it feels so sublime you have a lovely visage, you should show it off |

if every wannabe stoner kid has dreads, then its no good for you to cut them. you gotta keep on representing the true form of rastafari! and dont do things for somebody else. i cut mine for several reasons and it also had somehting to do with other persons and i have been dead wrong. nothing i expected has resulted, but that its less work... so think about it carefully |

Change is good. If you've had the dreads for a while, I'd say cut them. Hopefully you can do it without having to have really short hair, because in my opinion, it's never a good look on a girl. And has been mentioned before, you'd still look really good either way. What is this, a beauty contest? |

if you do cut them it's always fun to watch the process of growing out your hair agian. short hair is fun too. i generally am not into the dreads, but as far as dreads go you do em well. |

Swimming is so much nicer with short hair, and being able to step out of the shower and not dry it saves precious seconds when you're late for work. |

but with dreads, you don't start washing them before work ;) they didn't smell but they had some weird powdery stuff in them, my friend said it was dust and skin flakes, i'm still suspicious. actually my face looks smaller, my whole head does, long neck and my small bones structure shows more |

i'll go along with that. with shaved-short hair i hardly need to dry it at all. but not after swimming, cos i don't go swimming. at least not in swimming pools. but very short hair looks ok on a bloke, but not so hot on a girl. short enough to let it flop a bit is nice. it's a tricky one. i prefer long hair on a girl, truth be told, but i don't like dreds. |
