I have just bought a couple of old releases on Basic
Channel. Man this is monotone music, some tracks during 20
minutes and there is no variation in it.
What is the most monotone music you ever heard?

Burzum: Rundgang um die transzendentale saule der
singularität
This song lasts 26 minutes and just contains 3 bleeps
repeated with one background wave thing. It works though.

And I also have a CD a friend of mine once used s an intro
for a live performance. It's one synth-wave with little or
no variation, and takes about one hour. Only two copies of
this last one worldwide, now how about that!

mmm...
i heard in a pub a few months ago a track from a german
artists that was some sort of dub-electro-techno. it lasted
the duration of the cd (74 minutes) and it was almost only a
loop repeated all the friggin time. i will never forget
it... its sticked on my mind forever
it wasn´t very good anyways...

actually, there's nothing wrong with saying "most monotone
music you ever heard?"

personally, I think it's more charming

Fly Pan Am - Dans ses cheveux soixante circuits.

I love this track, it's incredibly hypnotic.

I find hard techno and to a lesser degree, hard trance,
monotonous.
