WHO IS NOT WORKING WHO SHOULD BE

I should be working. I get paid by the hour of work that I
do, not for just showing up and surfing the internet.

But I feel tired and lazy and the phones aren't ringing.

There goes a few hours of money. Wheeeee!

I should be working. I've got medical bills up the plum
hole and I'm sitting at home reading about ants and
carniverous plants.

I suppose I should go hunting for a job for the summer...
although my 9 to 5 dirge last year was the most depressing
experience ever. I really want one that involves a computer
and much sitting of ass.

It's a phenomenon whereby people seek to produce product and
destroy planet for a pieces of coloured paper that can be
exhanged for other products and further destruction of
planet. Apparently it is the duty of every person of
working age.

You shouldn't have said it out loud. We're going to end up
getting lynched by a throng of hedons, I just know it.

i often spend about two paid hours of a three or four hour
shift here, reading/writing email, and surfing.

right now i am in a computer lab. my intentions were to do
chemistry homework and use this machine for it's spreadsheet
and word processing capabilities. haven't quite got around
to it yet.

fuck that routine. it's just easier to settle into the
mainstream pattern, follow the path that's already been
carved for ya. put a little effort (and a bit of passion
maybe) into your life and you can go your own route,
contribute less to the shitway than the average loser.

I should be doign schoolwork if that counts but nothings due
til Monday so there's no incentive. I haven't done any work
like all week. I'm really gonna screw myself down the line.

I could be working now. I need the money, I could be doing
stuff to earn some. But I'm not.

Do it now then you won't spend all weekend thinking about
having to do it.

oooohhhhhhhhh...
(if i could make that sound)

I've been out of work the past 2 days with strep throat.
Christ man, I feel like George W. Bush thought there were
some evildoers in my neck or something.

When I went to go see the doctor yesterday he started asking
me some routine questions then he viddied me throat and just
started laughing, then he put all his gear up and wrote me
out a prescription. Oh man.. there is only one other person
I'd wish this kind of pain on and they're in the bottom of
the snake river canyon.

Seriously, will someone please come kill me.

Hehe, sounds like there's a party in your throat and
everyone's coming.

I've been lucky this year - lots of green tea and echinacea
whenever I felt like I might have the beginnings of
something, and so far I've only had the sniffles for a
couple of days.

Irony dictates that I shall come down with the SARS
tomorrow....
