121 * CDs (albums/compilations)
40 * CDsingles (single/maxi)
14 * 12" (albums/"singles")

Most of it is good. The few bad records
I own were purchased because either I thought they would be
good, or I thought they would be good (atleast decent) +
they were cheap at the time.
So far I've kept the bad stuff, and only thrown away one
record in my entire life.
That record (a double-CD!), that I do not want to name, was
listened to several times before I decided it had 0 tracks I
liked, and thus it just used space I could use for my
quality CDs.
now it's gone with the wind.

started collecting CDs less than two years ago.

210+ not counting crappy singles or burnt cds (which there
arent many of) or anything cheap and nasty. ..

still feel like its too many.. . and dread the day where I
will have to sell off the least listened to stuff.. . its
going to happen you know.. . especailly as the collection
gets larger.. . you cant possibly listen to all the stuff
you get.. . so only the important ones will remain. ..

I sell anything I haven't listened to in over a year and
recycle the proceeds into new stuff.

3500 by now. Basically I don't know. Basically, it's one
wall's worth.

yeah thats what Im getting at.. . a year or so probally
makes sense.. . considering the amount of time I actually
get to listen to my cds I couldnt listen to all of them in a
year.. . and its only getting worse. ..

i guessed so :)

nice collections those; not really expensive, pretty much
all their work is on it and the covers aren't even ugly,
actually they must look pretty cool when they're all next to
eachother

which composers did they have series of?

"which composers did they have series of?"

the first complete work one was Bach (160 cds) and then
there was Mozart (174 cds) which finished in januari. The
rest is mostly a series of symphonies, chambermusic, etc of
various other composers.

ah i prefer bach, esp. those orchestal works, keyboard works
and chamber music
i don't care much for all those cantatas and vocal works
(still i would've bought them too if i started collecting
the serie of course) :D

600-700 CDs
around 80 12" records
about 15 7" (9 of them Planet Mu)

hobbes same with me about mp3s. I mean I've got quite a few
CDs full of mp3s but that was when like in 99/2000 when I
didn't have much money.

the real thing is soooo much better, especially records.
