Xltronic's most forgettable member, Clic, has a
totally average new track up and he would
like to know what everyone thinks of it!

It isn't really new though. That is a lie, because it's
about a year and a half old. If you listen to it, thank
you.

YOU CAN GET IT HERE, FRIENDS!

Ha, I am feeling so bad about my remix right now. I should
have told phobiazero to delete it. Did you do one?

Sounds really cool but which one is the new one? I really
like eo and everyone you love is dead (but I wish eo could
be longer...nah nevermind dont listen to me, its just kind
of a tease)

...not to mention the fact that you are a visionary. i mean,
c'mon.. everyone you love is dead.. a year and a half old
and it sounds like stuff that the big boys are just now
figuring out.. heh.. youwould be famous if you just waited 9
months after making tracks to send out demos.

Thanks to you as well.

None of them are new, really -- I just finally got around to
putting up a page that can host more than three songs and I
decided to put up a bunch of stuff I already had sitting
around.

Haha, nah... I'm definitely not a visionary, but thanks
anyway.

Is it possible for me to still get a cd of your stuff? Your
new stuff? I'd dig that.

Hmm.. I have a little EP I made a few weekends ago
here.

It's called The Lean Room and it's a concept album about
cleaning up my house. It's the newest stuff I have available
online. I'd love to hear what you think.

Hmm... damn. Everytime I click to download, it says that the
band is not ready for inclusion on the site or something...
Do you have them on soulseek or anything?

everyone you love is dead- I really like your compositions
that sound like complex intricate stumbling debris (like
upfall) but this one is different. The first 1/2 isn't my
favorite, but I really like the latter half where it
"glitches" up and stuff. With my software I can't control
tempo of a percussion beat without changing the pitch, so it
sounds unusual and cool when I hear that.
eo- Oh yeah, I remember this from before. Great little fun
track :)
optic bank- awesome! this is the type of stuff I really
like. I should download this one since I didn't last time it
was up, I put upfall on a cd already. reminds me of ep7's
track... uh 4 I think, and 7 which is similar. It almost
seems like you are using code for this (are you?). It would
be a pain to enter the data by hand for the weird volume
changing voice echo stuff for example.
Yeah, guilty structure and upfall are my favorites. They are
the most difficult to understand, they just sort of gurgle
and are really impressive. I have little idea how these type
of tracks are made. optic bank is nearing this, but it
doesn't stuble chaoticly.. it has a more linear but still
interesting style. So, uh, I like your newest one least, heh
heh.

Too bad you don't like your remix. I was looking forward to
that (well, still am). If you used your stumbling debris
type construction you could have wooped shnoz.

Always great to read your opinions, W. I'll leave optic bank
up there for you. :)

Yeah, I think my remix is pretty bad. I wouldn't look
forward to it, heh. I wish I could do another one; a better
one... but oh well.

I did enter the volume data in by hand for the weird vocal
thing in optic bank, by the way. I did the entire track that
way, same goes for eo and eye party, if you remember that
one. It's the only way I can get it to do what I want,
really. Definitely time-consuming.

FUCK IT!!!

nice work! :)

you really are getting better and better.

I didn't know "eo" yet - really nice work. the absolute
shortness of it makes it so much more powerful and
enjoyable. the percussion is like someone hitting you
directly on the eardrum. and when the voice drops in -
great!

"everybody you love is dead" has great percussion all
through. like the detoriation and confusion later on and the
kind of restart after that. the track does feel a bit too
long to me. the last 30 seconds are just good ol' plain fun.
:)

"guilty structure" (nice title - lewd archive.. :P ) is more
classic in its structure. a kind of BoCish melody and nice,
glitchy beats. nice melody, the structure is a bit
predictable though.

I was kind of weary of the background drone in "optic bank"
- seemed to lack texture, although I did like the break you
made into it. it turned out all for the better when you
added bass to the drone later on - really felt like the
track was "powering up".. liked how by changing the drone or
the glitchy sounds you constantly change my focus from
foreground to background and back again. makes the track
very dynamic. the voices are okay - you could've diversified
more with those I think. loved it when the lower voice drops
in for a moment at about 1:05. nice ending.

I would like it very much if you'd send me a cd-r with some
of your tracks. I lost my old qrter-mail-account (the site
folded..) so I haven't got your e-mail-adress anymore. if
you could send a mail to the adress in my profile I can see
your adress (I'll be replying from a different adress as the
one in my profile doesn't work properly either yet..
pfff...)

aaaaaaand I'm spent.
