Hangable Auto Bulb 2: best release

I've listened to this 'ep' (2 tracks = a single, but
whatever.) And those 2 songs are fantastic. The way they fit
together. The melodies and the drums are amazing.
I think atm this is one of my favorite releases from
richard.
How about you?

just make sure you vote in the poll, then that poll will be
mailed to richard personally by myself, and richard will
re-release it for us peeps :0)

oh yeah both bulbs are wonderful
(children talking is rad)

not even in my top 10
in no order:

drukqs
abb3
saw 2
surfing on sine waves
I care because you do
saw 85-92
classics
caustic window comp
come to daddy
ventolin maxi cd

indeed not even in my top 10

yah imo it's the prototype for a huge amount of the stuff he
created after that

Yeah - I completely agree with you.

Arched Maid via RDJ is one of the best songs ever!

no no no. HAB 1 is far superior. and you actually get the
right amount of tracks for an ep. 2 songs= a single does it
not? its still a good ep, but come on hab1 has children
talking and hangable auto bulb, 2 of the best songs ever!
esp the latter. just listen to the drum pattern half way
through children talking and then say hab2 is better!

The Hangable Autobulbs make me think of a museum or some
other huge building afterhours, dark and lonely, and I have
no fucking idea why. God help me.

Oh, don't get me wrong. HAB 1 is good too. I like it alot
actually. But arched maid via RDJ is probabaly the best
track ever made. That melody is so fine! Iit's so perfect.
The distorted wah wah sound. It's so dramatic, I love it!
Everyday is also one of those superb afx tracks. And yes,
these beats are definitely the prototype for his later
drumbeats.

good lord, this is prooving once again that I'm not good at
facts.
But he could've released it 'bigger' yunno. A cover + inlay
and stuff. Promote it a little more. Cuz it's really good
and quite easy to listen to for the average afx fan.

the last rdj record i heard before i saw hab in the shops
was the ventolin ep (which was both singles on one disc in
the us) and i thought (and still think) that it was sub
par. stylistically i hadn't been too interested in sawII
either, so i passed on hab without hearing it. oops.
