It's like that dog shit that's been sitting outside for 3 months and starts developing a receding hair line.. Anyway, it takes about 8-10 minutes to access hotmail and check my messages so I only do it about once a week. I've been wanting to hear the Soft Boys since I read a review of their new album a few weeks ago. I love their name and I love the title of the cd -- I've heard it isn't nearly as good as their older work though. Which release would you recommend for me to dip my toes in? |

Dip your toes into the waters of Underwater Moonlight, the best album I've heard in months. Look up the lyrics on google or something, they're really whimsical and clever, like Syd Barrett fronting a pop-rock band, it's great. Their new one is decent two, but come on, it's been 22 years... they're not young strong bucks with brains full of fresh ideas anymore. Still a pretty successful comeback, but listen to A Can of Bees and Underwater Moonlight first. |
