if you think about, the belgium gov't doesn't really care if you buy or sell. they just want it to be on the hush hush and kept discrete. if they made it legal to grow and sell, how many fields and empty spaces on the ground would be planted with marijuana seeds. the shit would be everywhere! (not to say thats a bad thing) |

its a shitload of money thats generated selling though, its still a 'grey area' in Holland, nobody knows where the profit goes. and when you observe the trade that goes on, itis staggaring the amount of weed sold in one tiny place. each coffeshop is allowed 500 grams on the premises, there are 1000s of coffeee shops that sell constantly for 12 hours solid, 5euro a gram X 500 gram X 7days, and thats just the 500 gram, most shops sell alot more than that. Serious money involved. |

Legalization of drugs and other stuff that makes you addictive has bouth good and bad sides. I wish everything could be legalized, but some people just don't deal with drugs in a responsible way. If everybody who got addicted would seek some treatment, then I guess there wouldn't be much problems in legalizing everything. |
