one of the most overlooked/underrated afx tracks is "Logon Rock Witch" its melody was the first that got me to appreciate James' melodic touch.. and serves as a turning point in his career .. so far from SAW8592.. and a precursur to the acoustic work that makes up half the Drukqs album... "Ventolin (Coppice Mix)" and "Ventolin (Asthma Beats Mix)" I don't understand how these (and the 3 mixes of "Come to Daddy") are remixes of each other.. but they are great.. and almost never mentioned |

abb 4 is great, i just did a drawing of two stoned monkeys with an afx poster of abb 4 behind to me its far better than abb3, but i like it tho |

I have to be a lot more cautious when paying for the relatively rare afx stuff. save for the '2 remixes by afx' most things (for which I end up paying more money because they're either rare or an import or both) sound really dated and are quite simply not immediately appealing to me as most of his work from 96 on is (not counting the SAW series and, of course, most of "ICBYD") so far the criteria for a high-quality rdj release for me is either two or all of the following 1) that it's credited to "Aphex Twin"* and 2) that it's a post-1995 release** 3) that it's an LP*** * this does not apply to 2 Remixes by AFX ** this does not apply to SAW8592/SAW2 *** this does not apply to Come to Daddy, Windowlicker and 2 Remixes by AFX |

I agree with cow cud is a twin.. I was surprised/impressed with his underground hiphop sampling technique there.. there's one sample on that that's so nice.. I'm not into the drums though I hate come on you slags though.. really do not like that one |

logon rock witch is a masterpiece, so are xtal and shottkey 7th path. If people don't mention it it doesn't mean the song is underrated, it means it's either too old to keep mentioning or they don't know what makes good music. |
