Tell me Danbrusca why doesnt George Bush attack North-Korea.
They have dictator even worse than Saddam Hussein and more
than likely already possess some nuclear weapons.
Some people´s hghghghgh never ceases to amase me, this war
was decided 1990 when many republicans wrote a petition for
president Bill Clinton about going to war in Iraq. 10 of
those Republicans are in Bush´s government right now so
dont tell me USA ever wanted to go after a diplomatic
solution to these crises.

This is a very complex war America decided long ago to
enter, 11.sept 2001 just triggered an immediate action. The
consequenses for USA if they go ahead without the UN
approval is just bringing the 3rd world war opon
themselves,

Good luck USA....you´ll need it :)

40 Tons? That's so little depleted uranium in relation to
the size it's spread over...

Depleted uranium is very, very dense- a small volume weighs
a lot. It's also not that harmful. There is no proof
that it is responsible for gulf war syndrome.

Without wars the world would be even more overpopulated than
it already is.

Saying Iraq has 0 nuclear weapons and stating it like a fact
is definately questionable. Making statements like that
undermines your whole argument.

But saying they DO have WMD also undermines an argument.

And depleted uranium is carried via the dust in Iraq.

One of the 40+ draft resolutions against Israel that were
Vetoed by the US...

Occupied territories: Draft urged Israel to abide by the
Fourth Geneva Convention, rescind the order to deport
Palestinian civilians, and condemned policies and practices
of Israel that violate the human rights of the Palestinian
people in the occupied territories; (S/19780)

The vote was 14-1!!!!

And now they complain because France is using its RIGHT (a
right used time and time again by the US), to veto a
resolution that directly authorises force.

This seems like a much more reasonable veto that most (if
not all) of America's veto's to date!

It was confirmed by the UN inspectors in 1998 that Iraq had
NO nuclear weapons, and NO capacity to make them. They need
to build a nuclear reactor to make nuclear weapons. Its
virtually impossible to build a nuclear reactor without the
international atomic energy agency knowing about it.

Maybe they've gathered up all the depleted uranium thats
collected in the lungs of their dead and dying children, put
it all together, and knocked up some sort of 'dirty bomb'!

Only particles of depleted uranium are carried by dust and
like I say, they're not very dangerous at all. Most depleted
uranium is like lead in behaviour (although much more dense)
when it hits a target it "splashes" to do a lot of damage,
but generally stays in fairly big clumps.

It's not like you get tons of radioactive dust a la nuclear
winter...

RUSSIA has used a veto only twice since the 1991 collapse of
the Soviet Union.

FRANCE has used a veto separately from Britain and the US
only five times in the history of the UN.

CHINA likewise has only used its veto five times.

BRITAIN has used a veto 32 times, on 23 occasions alongside
the US.

THE US has wielded its veto on 76 occasions, 35 times to
defend the actions of Israel.

Where is this 'anti war camp' that you keep talking about? I
wouldn't mind paying it a visit.

You make it sound as if anyone who is against the war is
part of some hippy/lefty/socialistworkers commune, that sit
around making up stuff to chuck at those who want war. I'm
not just against this war because I'm against all wars, or
because I hate the US, but because I've looked at the facts
that are presented and have made my own decision on what I
have seen. From what I have seen, this war is at best
misguided, and at worst illegal and immoral, and the
consequences will be felt by the world for decades to come.

A war? Wasn't really a war, you know, a war is when two
armies are fighting, so, I don't know if you could call it a
war, exactly, you know. The Persian Gulf Distraction, is
more like it, I think.

Pretty amazing thing, really. Bush turned out to be a major
fucking demon, who woulda guessed? Remember when he was
first president, he was the "Wimp President," do you
remember that? Cover of Newsweek, cover of fucking Newsweek,
"WIMP PRESIDENT." Apparently, this stuck in this guy's craw
a little bit. That guy was a dynamite waiting to go off.

(Iraqi voice) We surrendah!
(George Bush voice) Not good enough.
(Iraqi voice) We run away!
(George Bush voice) Too little, too late! Call me a wimp,
c'mon, fuckers, c'mon! Hold him back! Those guys were in hog
heaven over there, man. They had a big weapons catalogue
opened up.

(Hillbilly voices) What's G-12 do, Tommy? See, it says here
it destroys everything but the fillings in their teeth,
helps us pay for the war effort. Well, fuck, pull that one
up! Pull up G-12, please. SHOOP. BOOM! Cool, what's G-13 do?
Big Sears weapons catalogue. 'Weapons, for all occasions!'
You know.

See, everyone got boners over the technology, and it was
pretty incredible. Watching missiles fly down air vents,
pretty unbelievable. But couldn't we feasibly use that same
technology to shoot food at hungry people? Know what I mean?
Fly over Ethiopia, "There's a guy that needs a banana!"
SHOOP. The Stealth Banana. Smart fruit! I don't know. Once
again, I was watching the fucking news, and it really threw
me off. It depressed everyone, it's so scary watching the
news, how they built it all out of proportion, like Iraq was
ever, or could ever possibly, under any stretch of the
imagination be a threat to us-wwwwhatsoever. But-watching
the news, you never would have got that idea. Remember how
it started, they kept talking about 'the Elite Republican
Guard' in these hushed tones like these guys were the
bogeymen or something. Yeah, we're doing well now, but we
have yet

to face-THE ELITE REPUBLICAN GUARD. Like these guys were
twelve feet tall, desert warriors. KRRASH. NEVER LOST A
BATTLE! KRRASH. WE SHIT BULLETS! Yeah, well, after two
months of continuous carpet bombings and not one reaction at
all from them, they became simply, 'the Republican Guard.'
Not nearly as elite as we may have led you to believe. And
after another month of bombing, they went from 'the Elite
Republican Guard' to 'the Republican Guard' to 'the
Republicans made this shit up about there being guards out
there'. We hope you enjoyed your fireworks show. It was so
pretty, and it took our mind off of domestic issues! The
Persian Gulf Distraction.

People said, "Uh-uh, Bill, Iraq had the fourth largest army
in the world." Yeah, maybe, but you know what? After the
first three largest armies, there's a real big fucking
drop-off, all right? The Hare Krishnas are the fifth largest
army in the world, and they've already got our airports,
okay, so. I think that's the greater threat right now. Mr.
Onion Head in Terminal C is scaring the shit out of me. Get
him away from me. What an amazing thing, though. You know,
and the amazing thing, obviously, the disparity and the
casualties. Iraq - one hundred and fifty thousand
casualties, USA - seventy-nine. Iraq - one hundred and fifty
thousand, USA - seventy-nine. Does that mean that if we had
sent over eighty guys, we still would have won that fucking
thing, or what? One guy in a ticker-take parade:
(Hillbilly voices) I did it, hey! You're welcome! Good work,
Tommy, how'd you do it? I pulled up G-12! It was in the
catalogue! Worked like a charm! You know, my biggest problem
with the whole thing was that blood lust that came out of
everyone, you know, this blood lust, man, it's really
unbelievable.

All the facts in that list are one sided. Where are the
facts for the number of people tortured by Saddam Hussein,
how many people have been killed on his orders, how many
people die because he refuses to sell enough oil to feed and
provide medicines for his own people etc etc?

They would have had a nuclear weapon in 1991 if Israel
hadn't bombed the nuclear reactor that Jacques Chirac had
sold them.

All the facts in that list are one sided. Where are the
facts for the number of people tortured in Camp X-Ray,
how many people have been killed by the death penalty on
Bush's orders as Governor of Texas, how many
people die because he refuses to allow Iraq to sell enough
oil to feed and
provide medicines for their own people etc etc?

I have no idea why they're choosing Iraq now, I don't really
care. Like I said yesterday, whatever the aims of the US
they coincide with what I happen to think is in the best
interests of the Iraqis.

Its kinda sad we live in a time when the largest crowd
prostesting in the world doesnt change anything about what I
think is starting World War III.

The retaliation from the Islamic world will be enormous. I
dont buy the explanation about the USA going only for the
oil in Iraq, I think USA with Israel is slowly trying to
annihilate all Muslims and and especially their culture. The
"Endgame" book doesnt explain it fully. There is something
very evil developing in this world, the essence of
capitalism is to expand till nothing escapes their values.
Its a wild idea but its possible the only reason Western
countries want the Islamic world to take up democracy is to
expand their markets. Europe has done this over the course
of history but I thought we stopped that superior nonsense a
long time ago.
Nothing to do with getting the world together under one
regime and peace and unity for all will follow ;)
I have nothing but my own gut feeling behind me on this but
its possible in the next 50 years we will witness something
even more terrible than the Holocaust.........the fight for
money and water will trigger something that terrible.

no marlowe most of those resolutions involve illegally
occupied Palestinian terrorities and anyway if they were
such minor issues why the need for the US to veto?

Here's a list of them...make your own decisions
