Can someone please recomend a track by this artist,or an
album.Because I've heard so much good press about him.

What/who does he most sound like?

I don't know anything about him, but I love his name.

I'll make something up, though:
His songs consist of him repeatedly shouting his surname.
"SCHNAUSS! SCHNAUSS!! SCHNAUSS! Schnauss? SCHNAUSS!!!!"

sub-par.

here

Two songs there. Melodic and pretty, no one is ever gonna
mistake this guy for snares. Nice enough if you're in the
mood for it.

it's simple IDM, very melodic. maybe like arovane's tides? i
like it. you have to kind of set your expectations back and
watch the sun rising or something, simplified sense of
wonder.

the second half of 'far away trains passing by' is very
nice
the first half is just ok

his track on the blue skied an' clear compilation along with
his cover of slowdive's 'crazy for you' are both really
great though

me thinks the first half is better than the second!

No, wait, the whole cd is great!! It's one of my
favourites!! It's indeed something like arovane - tides.
Very melodic.

I'm annoyed that I was ill last week as it meant I missed
seeing him live last Thursday :(

My dad's mate still hasn't given back my copy of "Far Away
Trains..." I leant him a few months ago- seems he likes it
:)

He's got a mint hi-fi set up. If you nick that for me, I'll
let you have the record cleaning machine and as much jazz as
you can carry ;0)
