French Fries Get New Name in Congress By JIM ABRAMS Associated Press Writer March 11, 2003, 1:57 PM EST WASHINGTON -- Show the flag and pass the ketchup was the order of the day in House cafeterias Tuesday. Lawmakers struck a lunchtime blow against the French and put "freedom fries" on the menu. And for breakfast they'll now have "freedom toast." The name changes follow similar actions by restaurants around the country protesting French opposition to the administration's Iraq war plans. "Update. Now Serving in All House Office Buildings, 'Freedom Fries,'" read a sign that Republican Reps. Bob Ney of Ohio and Walter Jones of North Carolina placed at the register in the Longworth Office Building food court. |

that story distorts the facts slightly... I already made a topic about this last month or so, and it was actually just some guy in Hickville, USA, who runs his own food place and decided to call fries "Freedom Fries", because he was trying to be patriotic and not because he "was against the French". |

anything you download goes into a temporary folder as storage, when it finishes downloading, it's moved to wherever you told it to save the file ;P but the temp file doesn't always go away, and thus would start to build up into 7gigs if you had a lot of them |

huh, i should check that more regulary :) it wasnt so long ago i deleted about twice as much but i save directly to my desktop (i dont think it goes to the temp folder, but then again i dont know much about comps) you seem to know something about computers-any idea why cant i open www.ticketone.it (i opened it this morning but i cant open it again) |
