probably the only quality non-music show mtv ever had. Well the idiot box was funny too, I liked the burrowing bishop who had booze hidden in his staff. And also eddie the flying gimp. |

COOL, finally someone who knows that show! I loved Doug (I'm outta....herrrre) and that one sketch where the dude was in the bathroom cleaning out his ears with a q-tip and the dad walks in and says, "Who taught you how to do this??!!" and he's like "You did dad.... You did!!!" like a "Don't do drugs" parody ... Fucking funny stuff even tho some of the former cast have to resort to stuff like doing *snickers* bar commercials lol :D |

check out the movie "wet hot american summer" it was written by the guys that did the state and stars a few of them... i remember a skit from the show where it was just people at the dinner table laughing hysterically with no explanation at all |

that show was funny as hell. the way the show ended was so sad :( "well, this is our last show...." "yeah." several of the actors from it went on to start "Viva Variety" which was shown on comedy central for 2-3 years. |
