i went to drum n' bass club last night for the first time
in a great while and was reminded how much i love shaking my
booty to it. i've almost exclusively been listening to
'idm' type stuff for the past few years thus i'm out of the
who's who in drum n' bass loop. y'all got any suggestions
of dance worthy yet incredibly inspired drum n' bass artists
out there. i'm not talkin' drill n' bass either. i'm well
versed with the likes squarepusher, bogdan, venetian snares
etc. etc. suggestions appreciated. thanks doods and
doodettes.

What type of drum and bass do you mean? The jump up stuff
like Aphrodite does or what?

aphrodite's all right. i like my dn'b a little darker ala
the older Metalheadz crew kinda stuff. i would be more
specific, but hell if i know the difference between: jump
up, tech-step, two-step or any other subdivision labels i'll
never understand. i'm just curious to know if there are any
drum n' bass/jungle-like artists out there doing some pretty
cool shit within a dancey-context.

If you like the older darker stuff, get the album Torque,
released on No U Turn, Ed Rush, Trace, Nico, fucking classic
it was.
