Best Ambient CDs?

My favorite is Ambient 4: On Land by Brian Eno, so dreamy
and floaty, yet each track is packed with personality..

List your favorite, and try to avoid SAW2 ;p, or at least
list something else along with it...

Orbus Terrarum?! Tibbar, my man! :D

Anyway:

The Orb - "Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld" "U.F. Orb"

Global Communication - "76:14" "Pentamerous Metamorphosis"

Brian Eno - Any of the "Ambient" Series for a start...

Biosphere - "Patashnik" "Substrata"

Aphex Twin - Don't listen to Wolfslice, SAW II is a
classic...

The Future Sound of London - "Lifeforms", "Papua New Guinea
Remixes"

The KLF - "Space", "Chill Out"

Those are the ones I have offhand that I consider some great
Ambient albums...

:)

don't know if it´s officially qualifies as ambient or
not....but Vladislav Delay's Multila is one of my favorite
ambient records.

Lustmord/Robert Rich on Stalker is a pretty good one too,
and you can´t go wrong with Eno. Amazinghow fresh most of
his stuff still sounds

it's mongolian nomads singing with two voices whilst riding
horses. the noise that the hoofs make goes quite well with
it. can't get anymore ambient
