you should read "The deeper meaning of liff" by Douglas Adams and John Lloyd (if you haven't already, that is).
nice little dictionary with all words consisting of real placenames and new meanings connected to them. extremely funny.

Tolkien invented at leat 10 complete languages with grammar, exceptions and prefix/suffix system. I can search my links to find this complete tutorial of 200 pages for learning the quenia which is the language sopken by the elfs in LOTR.

interesting you should bring up this topic. my partner at work and i made up this word, "patchidge", which means anything really.. replaves any noun.
"Can I have a bite of that patchidge?", etc..
we spend well over 60 hours a week around eachother, so many things are implied.. so much impathy.. it just came natural to have one word that could mean anything. it's very efficient.
so anyhow, yeah.. it's kinda like your name.

And yes Pachi, that is true, i had 3 years of latin in school and 5 years of greek, and making words up is just easier, because of the easy grammar etc. (and of course by the very sadistic teacher we had for both subjects hehe)
