It is really sad that this message board has evolved to such a state, that when a person tries to post something he is excited about, and it always has to lead to personal attacks now. Come on people I dont want to resort to slinging mud in here along with some people. I have not come here as much as I used to, because in practically everythread, some personal argument breaks out and the origional subject is completly tossed to the wind. Stop this shit people. Its ridiculous, can we have at least one thread that resembles how it used to be on v.4? When people were friendly with eachother and had meaningful discussion that dealt with the thread topic. I have allways hoped that xltornic would grow and people would keep its positive friendly atmosphere, but you know what, I can safely say, that this place will never be what it was. And thats very dishartening to me. I hope for the day where people can stop with the personal attacks and outwardly negative comments, but I am not going to keep my hopes up. I am encouraging his departure from duplicating the music he's into, and the development of his own style. as it is now, it sounds like a weak attempt at creating somethign that has already been done , and done well. the world doesn't need b-grade imitations, esp. when the imitations have the talent of the a-grade individuals especially someone who is talking about origionality, and seems to just post remix's on his zebox site, marginal sounding at that jesus bleeding on the cross.. if these tracks werent up right now u kids would have nothing to go on would you?!.. those just happen to be the tracks I have up right now. in addition to these, I have had at least 6-7 other [ORIGINAL] tracks up. again, these are just the tracks I have up right now. u didn't use the word marginal correctly, but I'm guessing what u'r saying is that what u heard wasn't that great. I can assure u it's at least 80-90 times better than anything you could ever produce... but that wasn't your point to begin with.. but anyway.. I'm not someone who "just posts remixes in my zebox" considering the fact that only two of the eight tracks that have been up there since I've had it have been remixes TWO (2) out of EIGHT (8) .. (2/8) ok? do we still need a song and dance to make this clear?? |
