I'm a good dancer sober and an awesome dancer drunk.

I dance best to ghetto booty b-town music or breakbeats.
Anything with tripped up funky beats. Standard techno music
is too repetitive and boring to dance to.

dnb/jungle/idm/etc ill be up there makin a fool out of
myself

I like dancing a lot! And the favorite thing to dance to are
good NuSkool Breaks!!! And sometimes dnb or house. But the
breaks are very near my heart with all thoose nasty electro
sounds and deep rough bass lines, WOW I say!! dnb is
actually to fast to really dance to a whole night byt breaks
are just perfect!!

dancing is my perfered medecine. i'd have to say the best
dancing occured at p-funk. there's not often music
inspiring enough to dance to, so i take it home some times,
go pagan with the cannabis and the whatnot. sometimes me
and my friend celebrate in the moonlight at a nearby park.

The most known NuSkool Breaks artist is maybe Plump DJ´s or
Stanton Warriors, maybe FreQ Nasty too, and my favorite
artist right now is maybe Koma+Bones, best labels are TCR,
Finger Licki´n, Botchit & Scarper... ... ... a lot fun!
very good dance music!

is it like dnb?

offline MrDwatt from Helsinki (Finland) on 2003-02-09 07:11 [#00547526]
Points: 570 Status: Lurker

it is slower, funkyer and more danceble than dnb, it is
still a cousine, it got much nicer deeper bass lines and
better rythm imo. And the best is that it is not taking
itself so siriously, humor is no problem as in dnb, where
people think thay are listening to somthing really
sofisticated...

offline slint on 2003-02-09 07:18 [#00547532]

this is true drum'n'bass often takes it too
seriously......but i like fast rithm for exemple last night
the dj put also some dub and i really don't like to dance to
it.....i think it's good to drink or smoke to.......

offline MrDwatt from Helsinki (Finland) on 2003-02-09 07:26 [#00547542]

but siriously, breaks is the best, it is still just so new,
that amost only people in England, Australia and Spain have
heard it

No way, you dont have to question anything when your
dancing, straight people can dance too, IVE SEEN IT WITH MY
OWN EYES!

I like to dance

I wish more people wouldnt be soo afraid and get out on the
dance floor instead of sitting at the bar pretending to be
cool. More people should try dancing, especially to "IDM"
ish style tunes, haha good stuff

it's a matter of self confidence with yr body-and also self
opinion
come on the dance is the most primitive of the remedies
i also think is the best way to socialize exspecially with
girls

i can cross my legs and can balance myself on the edges of

good point diablo...
without dancing there doesn't seem to be a legitimate reason
for any music
and on the same token, without music you need a pretty good
excuse for dancing, i usually just explain to people that
i'm on ecstacy and on my way to a rave

for me, what it comes down to is, i love music. i don't
have a passing interest, it is the core of my personal
religion. i love to feel it, go through the movements in my
soul. dancing is making the music tangible in the body,
solidifying it, making it more real than real.

and i'll have you know monoid, that dancing can be very
informative as to the rythms of one's love making, whatever
your sexuality :)
