Finally friday again.

What beer types do y'all prefer?

(don't flame me if this has been discussed before, there's
one in every thread)

I used to drink the sponsor's pish - i.e. Mcewan's Lager.
Now moved onto Tennents - does the job. Ocassionally, miller
or stella but usually tennents. Lovely stuff.

I hate beer. I prefer spirits.

Bodingtons, Newcastle Brown Ale, Pissenfooker. I won't touch
bud as it's ultra fizzy PISS. I try to keep off beer and ale
and stick to energy drinks and alcopops (refrain from
calling me a pussy as the amount of cannabis I smoke on the
weekend is a good alcohol substitute) I used to drink Red
wine and vodka but stopped that after some issues.

If I do drink spirits I'd go for After Shock (Blue or Red or
both mixed together, green makes me want to projectiley
vomit, nasty!) or that odd tasting stuff with the gold bits
in. What is that apple stuff? Sours or something?

issues? You've got me interested. Drunk at work, eh? Double
vodka first thing in the morning, eh? Wee half bottle
stuffed into your briefcase - "I'm just off to the toilet,
boss!". I catch your drift. Issues.

Yes you are correct Bill. Just a small one to get me started
in the morning. This was in my later teenage years too. My
friends stopped that shit cuz I got real fucky and started
talking nonsense, throwing things at my friends and so on. I
just got too dependant on it. I came into work one morning
stoned off my tits and drunk after having no sleep. I kept
wobbling around and laughing so I got sent home. I'm better
now and really mostly drink those energy drinks and smoke
ganja. I'm much better off for it. I was very much the fool.
:/ I'd get food poisoning real easy and turn yellowish.
Gah... I fucking hate my past.

What are some good SoCal microbrews? Fat Tire and Molgollon
Rim are good local ones in AZ. Although Fat Tire is so big
it's probably not a micro any more.

stupid things like jumping out of a moving car

*looks down at broken leg

aw fucking hell, never again.

We've got a couple of people like that where I work. Their
in their late 40's, obvioulsy mid-life crisis and all that
shit and it's an open secret that they are constantly
wrecked at work. They spend more time in the toilet than
they do actually working. Quite sad to see. It was touch and
go for a while whether I would end up going down that route.
But I've cut down on the drinking and I'm feeling the
benefit. Maybe 10 years ago I used to feel immortal, 5 years
ago I was suicidal, now with a healthier lifestyle I feel
pretty damn good. What am I saying, who knows. Live your
life. Just be prepared for the consequences.

I could drink vodka at an alarming rate. I'd think nothing
of cracking open a beer for my breakfast the morning after a
party. I used to do weightlifting but that stopped to make
way for my own pleasure and I got fat. Everything is cool
now but fuck knows what damage I have done to myself. I
recently went down from a waist size of 32" to 28" and I'm
exercising again. I've been thru depression also, thinking
the worst all the time and just being so low because you
hate yourself for being low and the hate makes you even
lower, your friends trys to help but all you want to do is
die or hide or sleep for a long time.

Things are great now that I have woken up and taken over.
}:>

If you ever can, mix red and blue for purple After Shock.
It's lush and hits you hard. }:> Green After Shock is horrid
IMO.

I like most micro brews. I love a good hoppy IPA sometimes,
dark brews are good. basically I can appreciate most all
types of beers. however, I always come back to the old
standby Busch Light. I know it's swill. I'm totally aware
of the fact, i even embrace the fact that beer snobs look
down on me for drinking it.

but, the fact of the matter is that it's a very neutral
beer. goes well with food, goes well alone, doesn't leave
such a horribly bad taste when coming back up the in pipe.
and best of all it's neutral taste allows you to begin
drinking again right after waking up from a heavy night with
the bottle.

I've prolly drank more busch light than all other forms of
alcohol put together. and I've drank a lot in my day.

Boddingtons, Newcastle Brown Ale, Kilkenny, Guiness
(draught), Kriek, ALL czech beer available, and for budget
purposes, Björne Bryg and Sofiero does the trick.
