When I was a wee mouse, I had a pair of boxing gloves that I'd strap on, and then I' d box with this stuffed monkey that my grandmother controlled. He had hard plastic fists. Nevertheless, after a few hard lefts and uppercuts from Sam (or Cornelius as I later called him after seeing Planet of the Apes), I would defeat him at fisticuffs and my grandmother always crowed "fleetmouse is king of the castle, and Sam's the dirty rascal!"
