i went to the job place to sing on, and had to stand there
for an hour..then went shopping for videos for
voyager but the best the shops had was
enterprise so i decised to get the simpsons video
instead...also got laurent garniers album 'unreasonable
behavior', strange this is exactly what i thought red
snapper would be like....then there was a water cut and i
had no water for a few hours.

My day was really bad, I was working really long hours.
Some of them over 75 minutes.

Woke up, went to one class and skipped the next two, came
home at 10:30 and spent the entire day in my room listening
to music and playing some games, watched some classic
wrestling matches, surfed the net...

Unexciting? Yes, but this is what I like. Too bad every day
isn't like this. The only thing missing was a blowjob.

Tomorrow I have no classes AT ALL though! Radical.

Well I have classes, I'm just not going.

''I was working really long hours.
Some of them over 75 minutes. ''

Sometimes that actually seems like fact on long workdays.

Since you asked, I spent most of the day designing a printer
form overlay with a brutally ugly utility that converts
simple (i.e., primitive) commands to a Hewlett Packard page
formatting language called PCL.

Still with me?

It was like hand-coding HTML in a pitch black room, wearing
boxing gloves, and with the monitor turned off.

Oy.

Now: beer, tuxedo cat, Miles Davis, vegetarian pizza with
bacon, wife.

Soon: death, the grave, disintegration, exhumation by
cockroach archaeologisats circa 5050 c.e.

When I was a wee mouse, I had a pair of boxing gloves that
I'd strap on, and then I' d box with this stuffed monkey
that my grandmother controlled.

He had hard plastic fists.

Nevertheless, after a few hard lefts and uppercuts from Sam
(or Cornelius as I later called him after seeing Planet of
the Apes), I would defeat him at fisticuffs and my
grandmother always crowed "fleetmouse is king of the castle,
and Sam's the dirty rascal!"

I don't know what ever became of Sam but I still have the
boxing gloves. So the answer is no -- they're a treasured
family heirloom.

(names changed to protect the innocent)

Used to do that all the time with Lynx on a dialup shell
account. If you're mouse-free try W3M, a very nice text mode
browser. Wish I'd had it back in the Lynx days.
