Worst music you ever bought

offline danbrusca from Derbyshire (United Kingdom) on 2003-01-21 14:34 [#00522866]

What's the worst CD/LP/casette or whatever you've ever
bought?

For me, it would be Trans Slovenia Express, an album of
Kraftwerk covers by Slovenian bands. Fantastically abysmal.

I have a weakness for buying really obscure shit. I thought
it was just some album of Slovenian electronica, but didn't
realise it's true nature until it was far, far too late.

I do hope the music scene in Slovenia has changed in the
last 9 years!

Actually, send me your address and I'll send you the CD. I
will sleep better knowing it isn't in the same country as
me.

"Dog Eat Dog" was the bands name, but i forgot the name of
the CD. It's full of wery crappy heavy metal music.
-I bought it because i neaded a cd cover but the CD was
cheaper (75c.) than a blank, empty one ($1,20). :)

hehe, well there are some pretty respected musicians on that
compilation
not just in slovenia
some of them are older, but that random logic duo is pretty
hot stuff-at least their new music, they actually won an
very important international award for best new/upcoming
electronic musicians

sure, i'll send you that rave zone if i can find it :)

Remember New Kids On The Block?

I bought their single 'Hangin' Tough' from a bargain bin for
10 pence, listened to it round at a mate's house and we then
physically destroyed it.

Subsequently, the single was re-released and sold millions
of copies and NKOTB became worldwide stars.

I also said that the the Spice Girls would be one-hit
wonders. You shouldn't really trust my opinions on anything
musical :P
