there can and never wil be the most infuential album of all time - its a totally stupid and impossible thing to try and qualify as the world is too big - what parameters do you have - pleasure, technical influence - how many children were concived when it's played in someone's home , sales, band size and instruments played - race of the mem bers - drum patters? |

to me, the most influential artist: the artist that is stated the most often by artists saying they/he/she has influenced them. talking about music. half the time when i read about artists stating the biggest influences, the beatles are constantly out there being mentioned. OF COURSE we'll never find out empiracally who the most influential srtist is, for the same reason we'll never know what the best song is. |
