no. i have 'silence is sexy' and 'halber mensch'...
i know they exist since april 1st, 1980, created for a joke-concert in berlin with some other people and i think the whole groupe were called 'die geniale dilletanten'.

For me, it's a chore to listen to most EN. I do like Yu-Gung, Tanz Debil and a few other songs. I bought some of their albums, but it was mostly for show.

'sonnenbarke' is a masterpiece of a track... so melancolic and strongly ambiant (in the sense that it has a strong ambiance), it rivalises with tool's 'sober' at least at that and possibly outpasses it ' _ '
and 'sabrina' is as great.

i wouldnt call it industrial because first of all its good and not 80s shit. industrial or what most call industrial is like shit dance beats and awful lyrics. einsturzende neubauten has no relationship with that.

no, you're confused. the bad lyrics crap isn't industrial. its third generation "industrial", called "industrial" cuz its a "cool" name.
gravity kills and all them aren't industrial, just call themselves that, cuz its "cool".
there isn't a word for that shit yet.

Einsturzende Neubauten didnt break up anyways, theyre making a new album now and are releasing stuff to people who become members or something like that...read about it at their website.
by the way I just got End Neu and its a lot better than I heard it was...underrated.

When I was 12 yrs old a mate of mine gave me a EN tape. Since then I?m hooked up. But I think at least 80% of their stuff is so drugged out thats it is hard to listen to but my fav tracks are :
Stella Maris Just wonderful...charming melody
ZNS Rhytmic & sinister
Armenia This one could fit on selected ambient works 3 ;))
Halber Mensch They performed this only with a choir - strange atmosphere...
